After christmas I want to go to Paris and London and I am looking for the cheapest way to travel from one to the other? Also if you have any Ideas for New Years in either location?

Eurostar (train) is the quickest and easiest. You may find a budget airline flight for less money but it’s more hassle. Eurostar takes you from the center of one city to the center of the other.

New Year in either city is expensive. For London the West End and Trafalgar Square are the popular places to go. In Paris the Champs-Elysse and Arc du Triomphe (spelling is probably wrong) are very good areas. Be careful in Paris they like to throw fireworks into crowds of people which can get scary.

I know south west sometimes have good one way deals for 99 but now there 125 is there a site where I can find something cheaper..Im not sure on a roundtrip ticket unless its cheaper..Im wanting something under $ 100 the same for hotels. near or on the strip any suggestions :)

You are kidding right? With the price of fuel you don’t have a chance for what you are looking added to the fact that you waited so long. The closer it gets to travel time the more expensive airfare gets. The prices you see now are as low as they are going to get. Columbus would be the cheapest for you to fly out of. It doesn’t matter what site you use they will all say the same price as airfares do not discount wholesale like hotel rooms do.

So far as hotels you don’t say how long you want to stay. You aren’t very specific on your travel plans for anyone to help. Add to the fact that you are considering the 4th of July means a holiday and weekend. Good luck.

You could use something such as:

- www.orbitz.com
- www.cheaptickets.com
- www.expedia.com

If your are willing to go the more complicated route, you may find a cheaper flight doing it this way:

Go to: http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/

Log in as a guest. This site will show you the absolute lowest fare being offered for that particular flight. You cannot book through this site though. Once you found the flight, you can do one of three things:

- Print the flight page out including all information, and mail/fax it to your travel agent of choice.

- Or, contact a booking agent such as, Expedia or Orbitz, and tell them you found these flights.

- Or, contact the airline directly and give them the rate code provided directly on the paper, and they are obligated to book that fare at that price if there are infact seats, still remaining.

I’m planning a trip, and I called a local travel agency. I have never used one before, and assumed they would charge me some sort of fee to organize this trip. Apprently, there are no fees. Is this normal for a travel agency? If so, how do they make their money? Is using a travel agency a good idea, or should I just make all the plans myself?

A travel agent/agency sells a holiday package put together by a tour operator. The tour operator gives the travel agency commission for each sale of their package they make.
